Delighted to join hat designer Jayne Elwell, photographer, Sarah Raymond and Model, Danielle Boucher shooting The Libertarian new Luxe Warmer collection (chic winter ear warmers with a distinct vintage feel) on this brisk autumnal day.
Our shoot took place at picturesque location, Jesmond Dene in and around the stunning Armstrong Bridge area complete with beautiful Victorian features and detail. In order to showcase Jaynes creations I felt the makeup and hair should suggest nostalgia with a subtle contemporary feel and of course complement and enhance her incredible design work. I decided that eyeshadow should be fairly nude aiming for a wide eyed clean look, defined only with mascara and opting for a stronger lip to achieve balance with the whole look. For that really wide eyed appearance and to show off Danielles sparkly blue eyes I simply traced along her waterline with a creamy eyeliner pencil that instantly brightened. I really wanted to evoke a feeling of autumnal freshness with cheeks that were slightly flushed adding only a touch of dewiness to the apples. For the hair, Danielles bold fringe framed her face beautifully softened with loose and glossy curls. Pictures coming soon….
