This was a rare opportunity to support a brilliant cause, The Gavin Blyth Ball 2013 in aid of Macmillan Cancer support!
Fantastic Northeast based makeup artists Amanda Bell, Victoria Farr, Vanessa Summers and myself packed up our makeup brushes and travelled to Manchester. We supported Artdeco creatives with makeup preparations creating makeup looks for celebrity guests appearing on the charity ball red carpet.
Some cheeky behind the scenes snap shots of the team with the lovely Roxanne Pallett and at the end of an enjoyable, fun and busy shift! And here I am, thrilled to be creating this makeup look using Artdeco makeup products, pretty golds, and coppers for the eyes with vibrant corals for lips and cheeks to achieve a beautiful and elegant red carpet look!
Crew and preparations were based at the Radisson Blu at Manchester Airport, but the event itself took place with magnificent grandeur under the wings of Concorde!!
All in all a grand day out, meeting and working with lovely new people with lots of money raised for a great cause!
