Makeup
Attending a fancy dress party this Halloween? For a gruesome alternative to ghosts, ghouls, witches and skeletons, why not go for a bruised and beaten up Halloween makeup look?
I can do bruises old and new, nasty burns, wounds, cuts, bullet wounds, slit wrists, black eyes, stitches, scratches and dirtying down. What could be more unnerving than a single trickle of blood from a gunshot wound or more repelling than a nasty weeping burn?
There are some specialist products used to create these effects, but many ingredients are very common and can be found in your kitchen at home. Ingredients such as gelatine powder, water, coffee granules, vaseline, tissues, and food colouring can be used to create colour and texture to achieve convincing casualty effects.
