Bridal Makeup
I had the good fortune to assist Amanda Bell with this stunning catwalk bridal makeup look at the Wedding Wonder Show in Sunderland this weekend. It has since had me rummaging around the sewing box and bathroom cabinet in order to recreate it!
Beautiful, wintery and ethereal, a palette of frosty whites, icy silvers, shimmery sequins and reflective gems. All this paired with healthy glowing skin, warm coral tones to flush cheeks and colour lips for a crisp outdoor winter feel. The look was built up layering materials using a range of techniques from using fingers to press in products, brushing work, buffing, splattering, sticking and glittering to create a wonderfully textured look. Sequins, beads, pearls, gems and glitter were layered around the eyes to create depth and texture whilst eyelashes and brows were kept minimal and whitened with paint. Lips were painted in silver and encrusted with sparkly gemstones. The girls looked magnificent under the catwalk lights with makeup beautifully complementing detail in the bridal gowns.
